Good Samaritan Industries is an agency of the Uniting Church in Australia and provides employment choices for people with disabilities. The GSI website provides information about employment opportunities, shopping at Good Sammy, donating to Good Sammy and how you can help GSI to provide essential employment services to people with disabilities in Western Australia. The GSI in Fremantle has retail outlets ( called Good Sammies) of x3 shops in the one arcade that employs both able and disabled people.These are recycled goods mainly clothes , homewares and books set at second-hand market prices. An advocate is employed by GSI to help the disabled workers to gain independent living skills through employment and training in the retail trade.Outside employment is also found for them by the advocate once their training is completed at GSI.

"Profit from Experience" Program is for mature age individuals to gain employment. A new program funded by the National Youth Mental Health Foundation - Provides support, information and links to existing services to assist young people, from 12 to 25 years, with mental health and drug and alcohol issues. Focuses on parents, family and friends who are in a position to offer encouragement and support to young people. Works with the community and service providers to value add to existing services. A GP and counsellors provide mental and general health support for young people. Community First Inc (CFI) is a training and employment provider offering a broad suite of services to people who have personal difficulties, mental health issues and barriers to community engagement. Its programmes include Personal Support Programme (PSP), Intensive Case Management (Job Network) and Ability Arts.
