TAFE Outreach-Ryde

Outreach provides courses for people who find it difficult to enter education or training programs. The program aims to remove barriers such as income level, English language ability, geographic or social isolation, physical or intellectual disability, or lack of previous education. Programs at Ryde include Computing, Office Skills, Call Centre Training, Horticulture, Handy person/Outdoor Worker, First Aid, Commercial Cookery and the TAFE Carelinks Youth Program. Provides supported employment opportunities to people with physical and/or multiple disabilities (including acquired brain injury and sensory disabilities). Those receiving workers compensation are not eligible. Part time (minimum 24 hrs) or full time work is available. Participants must be registered with Centrelink and eligible for the Disability Support Pension.
