The role of this service is to improve quality of life and prevent re-hospitalisation of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Referral from all health professionals. Education of clients and carers regarding symptom management: risk factors, signs and symptoms. Assists with helping clients understand their medications and to take them as prescribed. The Brain Injury Community Rehabilitation Team (BICRT) assists people who have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to transition back into their community. The Team offers community based multidisciplinary therapy in various formats.

The service aims to provide intensive short duration rehabilitation to clients in their own home. Clients who can be cared for at home include people with stroke, other neurological conditions, amputations, fractures and joint replacements. The treatment program usually consists of an integrated program involving appropriate members of a multidisciplinary team eg: doctor, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, registered nurse and social worker. Therapy is provided over a 6 week period; the types and number of treatments per week is assessed according to the clients' needs. Clients must be medically stable, have achievable rehabilitation goals, a GP who will medically supervise and client needs the required support in place before entering the program.

Hunters Hill Private Hospital is a 47 bed medical, surgical and rehabilitation facility, with inpatient adn day patient facilities. Visiting hours for the surgical ward are from 10am-8pm, and the rehabilitation ward from 3pm-8pm Monday to Friday and 12md-8pm Saturday and Sunday.
