It aims to provide social support and companionship to people who want and would benefit from social contact. Available for persons living within a 35km radius of the Hobart GPO. Service can be provided beyond this distance if volunteers are available.

Door of Hope Church offers a number of caring ministries through a volunteer service in the Launceston area. Volunteers may be available to help with light housework, befriending, visiting and lawn mowing. This service is also available to young mums and other people not eligible for HACC services. Other programs also operate to help the homeless. A Mag wheels program helps those in desperate need of a car, if possible.
