The Carer Respite Centre explores options with Carers to assist them to take a break from the caring role by providing information regarding respite options and assistance with the cost of respite, providing Carers with networks of support and after hours service in times of crisis or emergency via freecall number. The Toy Library is a centre and mobile outreach service; its specific focus is to provide educational toys to families who have a child with a disability. The library is staffed by a part time library assistant who will assist with in the selection of appropriate toys and learning equipment, using information provided by parents and professionals. The aim is to foster an understanding of the benefits of play and recreation through access to a variety of toys and equipment. The collection contains over 5000 items. Up to five toys can be borrowed at one time, for a period of one month unless otherwise negotiated. They also have resources for parenting. Siblings can also access toys and home deliveries can be organised for isolated families. Unpaid regular carers of the children can also borrow toys & resources.

Camp Breakaway organises Holiday Camps for people with disabilities, giving the client an opportunity to meet new people, encourage self reliance & independence, plus helps them become less conscious of their disability as well as allowing better understanding of their situation. Camps are staffed by volunteers, camps run for 7 day/three times a year - there is a current waiting list of 18 months - 2 years. Family respite camps are also held for families of children with high medical needs run over a long weekend twice a year. There is no barrier to the level of clients' disability providing their primary diagnosis is physical. Application forms are available through Camp Breakaway. The Breakaway Lodge caters for 20 people. Meals & entertainment are included in cost. Organisations can also arrange camps for either a catered camp where Camp Breakaway provides the facility and meals only, or arrange to have a self-catered camp where Camp Breakaway provides the facility only.
