The "Vinnies" second-hand shop is located in Livingstone St and sells "Seconds" in underwear and clothing items and second-hand clothing plus general household bric-a-brac. The Welfare services provide food parcels , food and clothing vouchers, household furniture, linen, bedding , help in paying utility accounts, rental payments and will help find alternative accommodation if necessary. Can refer clients for financial advice to other agencies if required. Once assessment of needs made then client is given vouchers to go to the "Vinnies" stores and furniture depot. These are volunteer run services and assistance is given across a wide range of areas in order to provide help and relief to those in financial hardship or crisis situations.

Each morning between 7.30am and 9am, trained volunteers telephone clients at a predetermined time to check on their health and wellbeing.
